SPEA Presents the First Ever Optomechatronics Tester
The new T100 system is designed to calibrate and test any kind of electronic device.
Volpiano, Italy, November 12, 2019 – As a global leader in design, development and production of automatic test equipment, SPEA is particularly proud to present its lates invention, which will set a new paradigm in the test industry. T100 is the world’s first flying actuator optomechatronics tester, designed to calibrate and test any kind of electronic device with the most advanced microelectronics, micromechanics, microoptics, sensor, MEMS technologies. The new tester, fully programmable and usable for different products, has already been adopted by Tier 1 electronics manufacturers and will be exhibited at the upcoming Productronica international trade fair, from November 12 to 15 in Munich, Germany, at SPEA’s booth 255, hall A1.
Among the main applications are widely used devices like home appliance front panels, touch screens, LEDs, keyboards and push buttons, as well as wearables and sound devices. T100 can be equipped with tools and actuators to perform calibration, electrical test, mechanical test and optical test. The system configuration can be quickly modified according to different product test requirements, to meet the fastest time-to-market schedules. T100’s operating software, ATOS, includes all the features for test execution and automatic test generation. More information about T100 will be provided during the Productronica trade fair, as SPEA looks forward to discuss its highlights and advantages with customers and visitors.
“SPEA is internationally recognized for its unique capability to provide disruptive innovation and equipment, designed to ensure a zero defect rate to our customers. At SPEA we like to think further ahead,” proudly commented Mr. Luciano Bonaria, President and CEO of SPEA. The company’s success derives from a mix of experience and know-how, continuous investments in R&D and a keen strategic insight: SPEA plays a crucial role in the electronics industry by supplying cutting edge testing technologies to identify defects in every stage of the manufacturing process and avoid field returns.
