SPEA is winner at the MEMS and Sensors Technical Congress 2023
SPEA, a cutting-edge company in the field of testing equipment, has been appointed as the Process Showdown winner during the MEMS and Sensors Technical Congress 2023, held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge (MA) on May 23rd and 24th.
Speakers at the MSTC were invited to give presentations about relevant topics for the MEMS and sensors supply chain and adjacent industries: from design through fabrication and packaging, final test and calibration, end-use applications. Presentations were followed by the audience voting.
Luca Fanelli, President of SPEA America, gave a presentation about MEMS test equipment standardization, demonstrating how the availability of standard testers and test handlers for MEMS, based on a common structure and able to incorporate modular and interchangeable test units for different device technologies, is opening new scenarios for both IDM and OSAT companies.
The speech explored these new opportunities, focusing on the resulting advantages in terms of cost of test, performance and ROI.
“It was a great honor to join the Technical Congress”, said Luca Fanelli. “The event opens a valuable window on MEMS technology innovation, giving a great networking opportunity for technical executives, engineers, and companies along the entire supply chain.
Earning the award from the event audience has been an important feedback about the interest of the industry in innovative, performance-effective testing solutions”.
